"Brearley on Broadway" Invitation

I volunteered to art direct and design the invitation to this benefit for my high school. The 1999 benefit was a single performance of a Broadway-style musical created expressly for, and based entirely on, this all-girls prep school. The artwork is by renowned children's book illustrator Paul Zelinsky, who is an illustrator I have worked with at Dutton and also a Brearley parent. I updated the Broadway vernacular with edgy type and a fantastical sense of humor. The budget allowed a fifth color gold and a die cut, which adds to the overall fun of this piece.
